Sign now and return your form no later than July 28.

Initiative 174 will put a proposition on the ballot asking voters to change state law to require 2,500 foot safety zones from all new fracking development. Please read the instructions below carefully so your signature is counted, and remember – you must be a registered Colorado voter that is at least 18 years old.

2. Fill out and sign the form.

Complete the petition form with the address where you live and are currently registered to vote (check your registration info here).

You will need another registered Colorado voter to witness your signing, and both you and your witness must sign using a blue or black pen (no electronic signatures). This is also a good opportunity to get your witness to sign a petition form.

If you don’t have a witness available, schedule a time to have a virtual witness session, it'll take less than 3 minutes.

3. Take a high-quality photo of the signed form and do one of the following:
